BugHerd bags a million for revamped task management system

MELBOURNE, August 25, 2014 -- The run of B2B start-up fundraisings continues, with BugHerd - a bug tracker for web developers and designers - snaring $1 million from a trio of investors - Tank Stream Ventures, Starfish Ventures and US-based 500 Startups.

The raising, the bulk of which came from the Australian investors and which closely follows six-figure deals for the B2B likes of ScriptRock and Maestrano, will be used by Bugherd to develop Stack, which it claims is a more powerful version of its underlying task management system.

BugHerd cofounders Alan Downie and Matt Milosavljevic said the funds would also allow the company to accelerate its growth plans with a focus on delivering visual tools for digital and creative agencies.
