Washington DC, July 15, 2009 — Space-Time Research announced today the delivery of their SuperSTAR software to Lockheed Martin for use in the Decennial Response Integration System (DRIS) for the U.S. 2010 Census. DRIS will ensure that the data collection of the nation’s 300 million growing and changing population will be accurate, efficient, and secure.
As part of the Lockheed Martin-led team responsible for receiving, capturing and standardizing census data, Space-Time Research’s SuperSTAR software will be a key element in ensuring rigorous data quality management. To achieve efficient and cost effective data quality, Lockheed Martin’s real-time data capture accuracy methods will be complemented by SuperSTAR’s SuperCROSS application. SuperCROSS will enable processing of extremely large volumes of complex data, and post-data-capture detailed quality analysis. Its ColourVIEW feature will allow Lockheed Martin to quickly spot data anomalies, and then make timely corrections and improvements to related processes.
“Space-Time Research’s SuperSTAR out-of-the-box technology will ensure data quality throughout the census data collection process, and will provide the performance and functionality to process and analyze large volumes of complex data while easily spotting anomalies,” said Kerry Araujo, Global Vice President for Space-Time Research. “We are proud to be part of the DRIS team for the upcoming U.S. Census.”
